U.S. citizens must bring photo-identification that has been issued by the federal government, such as a passport, or by the visitor’s state government, such as a current driver’s license or a photo-identification card issued to non-drivers by a state’s motor vehicles department. Please be aware, however, that some states issue driver’s licenses that do not have photographs or that are marked with the statement “cannot be used for identification purposes;” these documents, therefore, cannot be used for photo-identification.
Non-US citizens must bring their valid original passport (with I-94 attached) and applicable visa with any USCIS documentation supporting the visa status and/or renewals, (e.g., form I-20 for F-1 students or form DS2019 for J-1 visa holders).
Before access to classified information is granted, the Overwatch Security Department must have a visit request from the visitor’s company/agency indicating the security clearance and other required information on a visitor. The Joint Personnel Adjudication Systems (JPAS) is the official method of sending visit authorization letters (VAL) or certifications.
If a visitor has a contractual requirement to bring a laptop into an Overwatch facility, that visitor must complete a Visitor Laptop Authorization Request at Visitor Control. To expedite the process, the visitor may complete the form in advance and deliver it to the Visitor Center upon arrival. Once the visitor arrives, he/she will be briefed on the Overwatch policy/procedure regarding the visitor laptop usage.
