Feature Analyst leverages the industry’s most advanced object recognition technology to support its feature extraction capability.

Feature Analyst incorporates multi-attribute learning algorithms to enable analysts to collect linear and polygonal features such as roads, hydrologic features, trails, buildings, vegetation, land-cover/land-use and many other features. Feature Analyst also includes image segmentation and multi-class extractions which are simplified through capabilities such as change detection, 3D feature extraction, and advanced cleanup and post processing tools. Feature Analyst improves labor efficiencies and optimizes workflows for maintaining the temporal currency of geographic data.

The RoadTracker™ Toolkit is a proprietary application built by GeoEye for assisting the collection of production quality road center lines from multi-spectral, panchromatic, and radar imagery.
