How 3D Pro Solves Problems

3D Pro is an easy-to-use extension that provides you the power of 3D visualization and modeling with a minimum of effort. It can be challenging for analysts and warfighters to visualize territory or a target of interest based upon 2D imagery. A rich 3D scene provides better context and fills knowledge gaps. Constructing such a scene is time consuming using other software, so 3D techniques are not utilized to the full extent possible. 3D Pro solves this problem with simple tools, automatic sharing of vector features with RemoteView, and a built-in model library.

Product Capabilities

Use 3D Pro to rapidly construct 3D scenes using the Populate Tool and extensive 3D Model Library. Create 3D buildings with customizable wall and roof textures. Import or edit highly detailed and realistic 3D models using Google Sketchup^™. Perform real-time 3D analysis using the line-of-sight, buffer zone, and interactive landing zone tools.

Set conditions such as cloud cover, fog, and night vision. Simulate missions through a series of pre-programmed viewpoints or capture flythrough as an AVI movie file. Export rich 3D scenes to a variety of formats including Google Earth^™, 3D PDF, and PowerPoint^®.

System Requirements

While 3D Pro works with the same minimum system requirements of RemoteView 3.2, it is recommended that the 64-bit version of RemoteView be implemented and more than 2 GB of RAM be used to offer the smoothest performance on large scale 3D models.
